‘Tribute to Robert Burns’ is coming to Kilmarnock

The Kilmarnock & District Pipe Band

The Kilmarnock & District Pipe Band will hold its “Tribute to Robert Burns” event January 27 at the Masonic Lodge #100, 1434 Good Luck Road, Kilmarnock. Doors will open at 1 p.m. and the program will begin at 2 p.m.

The program will focus on a concert and entertainment instead of dinner, reported pipe sergeant William Harrison. The event will offer snacks and set-ups to enhance edibles (BYOB) brought by audience members.

Tickets are $35 each and available at The Local in Irvington, Chesapeake Bank in Kilmarnock and White Stone, and Primis Bank in Burgess. Checks also can be mailed in by calling 577-3349. Tickets will be mailed back to senders.
