LANCASTER—Ticket sales for The Lancaster Players comedy, “On the Farce Day of Christmas,” are underway.
“There’s already a ‘buzz’ about the show,” said president Luke Rawls. “Inquiries and advance group tickets are keeping us busy.”
Tickets are $30, and groups of 15 or more receive a 10% discount when tickets are purchased together. For tickets and reservations visit www.thelancasterplayers.org, or call the box office, 435-3776.
The cast includes newcomer Blake Gilson, who plays the hapless boyfriend of a recently-divorced woman who hires her ex to pose as her husband and spend Christmas with her family. Lisa Mallory, Aaron Stevens, Maggie Belliel, Rick Schurtz and Ja’nae Washington round out the cast.
Director Linda Stough notes, “Things do not go well in this not-a-Hallmark-holiday comedy,” said director Linda Stough. Playwright Ken Levine’s career has spanned over 30 years.
Performances are scheduled at 8 p.m. November 1-2, 8-9 and 15-16, and 3 p.m. on November 3 and 10 at The Lancaster Playhouse, 361 Chesapeake Drive, White Stone. Doors will open an hour prior to curtain for a social hour and cash bar.
