Pumpkin Walk moves to Town Centre Park

LANCASTER—The Pumpkin Walk will be held from 4-6 p.m. October 28 at Town Centre Park, 150 North Main Street, Kilmarnock.

The Pumpkin Walk is a free, safe and fun trick-or-treating event where businesses and organizations pass out candy to up to 1,000 children, said Lancaster by the Bay Chamber of Commerce executive director Sydney Walters. To ensure absolute safety and space for all participants, families and children, the Pumpkin Walk has been moved to the park this year.

All community businesses, Chamber members and others, are encouraged to sign up to pass out candy and goodies to trick-or-treaters. It is free to participate. All participating businesses must fill out a registration form at www.lancasterva.com.

Pumpkin Walk is a beloved tradition at a new location, brought to the community by the Chamber, in partnership with The Town of Kilmarnock, said Walters. This event is designed for children ages 12 and younger accompanied by an adult.
