Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society Top Hats and Tails Gala is coming up

The 2021 Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society Top Hats and Tails Gala is going “virtual,” so the community’s homeless pets can continue to receive the real care they deserve and everyone stays healthy and safe!

Tickets and tables for the Saturday, Jan. 30 event are on sale now. You don’t want to miss the chance to help GMHS save the lives of countless animals, and assist people who are struggling to keep food in the bowls of their four-legged family members during the pandemic.

Sponsors and advertisers will gain visibility and exposure to potential customers through our first-ever online event program, nearly 8,000-person email list, 16,000-plus social media followers, and recognition in the GMHS community of volunteers, adopters, and donors.

There will be lots of surprises, including Virtual Bartender Meg Carmine with Emcee Extraordinaire Jay Hutchins on video stirring up themed cocktails you can make at home while enjoying a carefully crafted, customized a-MEOW-zing Gala-to-Go bag with delicious treats for you and your pets.

There’s a sealed bid auction for some of the most unique items and experiences any local auction has to offer, including a glorious week in a waterfront home in Charleston, Rhode Island, and a pair of Adirondack chairs with side tables and foot rests handcrafted by GMHS Board President Richard Crowder. Join in the fun now as some offerings are already being purchased at the “Buy It Now” prices. You’ll also have to be in it to win the raffle for $2,500.
