Will showcase three homes overlooking Ware River
Come and explore the stunning beauty of Gloucester-Mathews as the communities showcase their historic gardens and breathtaking landscapes. The main in-person event is set for Saturday, April 20. A second separate event is set for Sunday, April 21. Organizers invite you to immerse yourself in the charm and elegance of these enchanting locations.
Gloucester-Mathews is known for its picturesque scenery, and during this event, you’ll have the opportunity to witness the beauty firsthand. The main Saturday tour includes access to three private waterfront homes whose owners have cultivated beautiful gardens and collected paintings, sculptures, and objets d’art in their travels. Visitors will want to linger and take in the variety and quality of these collections, impressive in their sheer numbers. The featured properties are River Promise (1987), Paget (1928), and the Mazzocco home (1990), all overlooking the Ware River.
The second, separate Sunday tour will feature the Gardens of Goshen, which are expansive and filled with world-class sculptures by renowned artists tucked into small gardens and spread across the sweeping lawn fronting the Ware River. Please note, admission to the Gardens of Goshen requires a separate ticket.

This is a shuttle only tour. Shuttle to River Promise and Paget from TC Walker Education Center (6099 TC Walker Road), with the last shuttle at 3:30 p.m. Shuttle to the Mazzocco home from Ware River Yacht Club (5992 Ware Neck Road), with the last shuttle at 4 p.m. Onsite parking at the Fine Arts Museum of Gloucester (6894 Main St.).
A separate ticket allows access to the extensive Garden at Goshen on Sunday.
