Gloucester library announces spring programs

Gloucester County Public Library has announced two of its upcoming spring programs, both scheduled to be offered at its Main Street Center location at 6920 Main Street in Gloucester.

Master Naturalist Hurricane Thompson of the Gloucester Master Gardeners will present, “Who is Stinging Me — Bees or Wasps?” on Wednesday, April 9, beginning at 6 p.m. Thompson will discuss how native solitary bees construct their nests in boxes that people can build. Learn how insects use their sense of smell to communicate among themselves. Registration for this program is now open.

On Thursday, April 10, the library invites people to create their own Easter Bunny mason jar at 2 p.m. Registration is now open for this craft program. Both programs are for adults 18 and older. Space is limited.
