Deltaville Maritime Museum spring car show announced

Deltaville Maritime Museum Car Show/Cruise In is planned for 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at the Deltaville Maritime Museum (DMM), 287 Jackson Drive, Deltaville. The show is open to all cars, trucks, and tractors and is a non-judged show.

The car show is offered in conjunction with the opening weekend of Holly Point Festival, which features numerous vendors and live entertainment.

Show participants receive free entry to all DMM facilities and two free Groovin’ in the Park concert tickets valid for any Groovin’ concert during the 2025 season.

The DMM boat shop, where deadrise skiffs are built by DMM volunteers and sold by DMM, will be open for inspection where boats under various stages of construction can be seen.

As with all DMM car shows, children’s activities are featured and all museum facilities are open for inspection, so this makes a great family car show with something for all family members. A historical buyboat, which was restored by DMM volunteers over several years, the F.D. Crockett, will be available for boarding, and free creek cruises will be offered on the DMM deadrise Jennie May.

There is no registration fee for the car show and pre-registration is not required.

For information about the car show and DMM facilities, visit Deltavillemuseum.com or call 776-7200.
