Blue Crab Arts and Crafts Festival due July 6-7

The second Blue Crab Arts and Crafts Festival is scheduled for July 6-7 at Chesapeake Bay Croquet Club, 1860 Twiggs Ferry Road, Hartfield.

Last year the event drew over 2,000 attendees and almost 80 vendors, selling arts, crafts, food, wine and beer, according to club president Macey White.

There are over 80 vendors signed up for this year, with hopefully more to come, he said. Anyone interested should contact vendor coordinator, Cynthia Fowler, goingagain.fowler@gmail.com.

“This year’s arts and crafts festival is expected to attract 3,000 or more participants. Last year, the food vendors sold out and the arts and crafts vendors all did very well,” said Fowler.

In addition to arts, crafts and food, there will be music all day. The lineup includes Clayton Neal, Hunter Owens, Jeff and Sherry Wagner, Gary Archer, Peyton Brabrand and Tom Euler.

Other activities include free croquet lessons and game play, free lawn bowling lessons and game play and a shooting gallery.
