‘A Touch of Red’ will open Feb. 4

Artist Ron Taylor interprets “A Touch of Red.”

During February, the RAL Art Center, 19 North Main Street, Kilmarnock, will feature the exhibit, “A Touch of Red.”

This mixed-media exhibit promises to provide gallery visitors with a diverse and colorful interpretation of artwork that must include a shade, value or color of red, reported executive director Doug Mock.  The color red can dominate the particular work of art, or it can be used in a small and suggestive way.

This exhibition will open to the public on Thursday, February 4, and continue through February 27.

The RAL Art Center is open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays.
